Did the Republicans nominate McCain because they knew that in 2008 they had very little chance in winning?

He is the best one to fight the terrorists....he has had personal experience with what it is like to be under the reign of monsters.....he certainly has the experience and intelligence, and will power to survive the greatest of hurdles....unlike the deceitful, picture-hungry, elitist one the Dems' Donkeys (jackes) have put up.
