Why would my daughter want him in the delivery room?

now my daughter might not be perfect, but she was going in the right direction until the fall semester of her jr year in college, she was on an internship at this company & met an older guy that happens to be a higher boss there. he's 54 now & she's 21! cant believe it either! they started dating & she got pregnant! this guy i guess is a big womanizer too! she had the baby on sunday, so now i have a granddaughter which i love, dont get me wrong. we were both in the room with her during the delivery. ive never really gotten along w/ him & when after he looked down there to witness his daughter coming into the world & not handling it well, he looked sick, i asked him, "i guess you've never seen an angry one before?" this is a man that has other kids & has ped a few kidney stones too & still couldnt take it! should he have been in there? why would my daughter even go for this guy? shes a beautiful blonde that always had guys after he & has a kid w/ the old guy paunchy w/ the beard! ???
