Why are young women so arrogant and ignorant?

I'm 36 years old and my boyfriend is 22. Proud cougar! He cheated on me with a 20-year old chick who was infatuated with him. But I made my man break it off with her and now I hear she's calling me names like "old lady" and other very explicit things. She's very immature and pathetic. She probably feels stupid that her "young" and "fresh" little body wasn't enough to steal a man away from an "old lady". But seriously, why are young women so ignorant and arrogant?
