If I have bronchitis, should I stay home from school?

I don't have a fever, but I have a really bad cough. My temperature is 97.9 (which, is actually high for me lately. I've been recording my temperature for the past 2 weeks for a project I'm doing, and it's always been between 95-96. I don't know if that matters or not.) I need an answer quick seeing as how I leave for school in 15 minutes. . .
