Cartoon duos?

I have a Sadie Hawkins dance on Friday. The theme of the dance is TOON TOWN. I have been thinking and thinking about what me and my date can be, cartoon duo wise, or cartoon couples. Preferably not animal cartoons because it is harder to make a costume as an animal, any ideas people? Throw some ideas at me.
