I need to upgrade my graphics card, I have an Advent 2001, a SIS graphics card and Windows XP.?

I think the card is integrated into the motherboard and have heard that you can just install an aditional card, however I dont understand where the outlet points (such as the connection for the monitor) will go, I am so confused can anyone help?
