Should I ditch my herstyler for a CHI?

So I've had Herstyler for over 2 years and I'm on my second one. Lately I notice I have to keep going over my hair with it for it to be really straight and I don't have thick course hair. It's taking me forever to straighten my hair after blowing it out. I don't want to spend that much time on my shoulder length hair. Has anyone experienced this with their Herstyler? Is the CHI better?
