Whats the difference between all the different finishes that PRS guitars provide?

A top ten has to do with the quality of the wood rather than the finish. As far as quilted, once you see it you will recognize the difference between that and say a "matchbook" piece of maple. I believe you will pay a little more for quilted but this is a matter of beauty rather than any real difference in sound quality. Basically the finish would be the type of paint used, generally there are two main types used and they both have their advantages and disadvantages.
